Back home there were pirates all over the place. Everyone up here seems surprised to hear about it.

I guess because pirates are usually just in stories and stuff... at least, that's how it was in my world.

[firefists]

What kind of stories do they tell about pirates then? [ Please tell him they have eyepatches and parrots and peg legs. ]

Um... usually they have like, striped shirts and eye patches and hook hands and stuff, and they always go "arrrrr!"

[totally doing some hand gestures and scrunching up her face to look more...pirate-like...]

[ PFFFFFFFFT WHAT? Excuse him he has to laugh himself stupid. In fact he starts wheezing and choking at some point, ] I never heard anyone say 'arrrr!' in my life! What is the point of that-- [ OH GOD STOP YOU'RE ADORABLE. ]

I don't know! That's just how it's always been! But if real pirates aren't like that, then what are they like?

[firefists]

There's no real set standard for what pirates are like. We're all different. but I guess if there's one thing we have in common it's a thirst for adventure and the fact that pretty much everyone is looking for One Piece so they can become the King of Pirates.

None of them say 'arrr' and if they do then they probably hit their head pretty hard.

[godyes]

Whoa... I didn't know pirates have a king!

... What happens if two people find this One Piece thing at the same time?

I don't know, I don't think anyone ever really figured that out. I doubt they'd be willing to share, being Pirate King is a big deal.
