[ A great feast is being held for all of you. ALL OF YOU when you come down from your little area in Olympus to see the most amazing layout of food in your entire lives. The Goddess of Love herself looks around you with intrigue. ]

Well, enjoy yourselves. And if you get along well... maybe fate had it in store for you?

[ ooc; OPENING PARTY POST, with a trick. Optionally, you might feel a pinprick of 'wow... that person looks amazing' before shaking it off. A little love at first sight that fades away in two seconds, leaving your character back to normal. Aphrodite can't help but have a little fun at your expense. With that out of the way! Party! Freak out! You're gods now! ]

I'm not. You both can stay here. [ a pause, as she looks from one to the other, matching their expressions perfectly. ] Or just one.

[ Hikaru's eyes narrowed then. What was up with this chick? ]

And just what's that supposed to mean?

[ and suddenly- cat ears. slit pupils. a cat. she extends her hand to both of them ] That why I said, let's go.

[ a small smile. a point, to show that even if her tone comes off as bossy, even if her words come off as commands- they're not. merely offers. and it's foolish to think otherwise. foolish- like she had once been. but she's changed, or at least she thinks she has. ]

[ Kaoru stares at her for a moment, before the twin's eyes slide over to his twin, and he grins. ]

The strange girl has a strange costume, don''t you think, brother?

[ Hikaru stares as well before his own eyes slide to Kaoru's in perfect unison. ]

Yeah, that's a pretty cool trick.

[ Of course with them being god's now... ]

But it's not that impressive.

[ Kaoru bumps his hip into Hikaru in a bounce, only for in an instant his own cat costume to come into play. ]

After all, we can be just as catty.

[ Hikaru once again mimics the movement in perfect timing. The exact same outfit, though it's only an outfit, shows up on him as well. ]

[ sadly, it's not a costume. or a trick. it's been a power, an effect of hers. she truly is a cat girl. but it's deeper meaning? a sick fetish. how she wishes it wasn't just some nekomimi, but simply a costume. or an actual cat. but that's not something she'd bring up. the hand remains raised. it's fragile. thin. the motion itself is weak. but there's a determinedness there, however veiled. she steps closer, bringing the other hand up as well. and she curls her fingers, moves her wrists up and down as if mimicking a kitten pawing at something. ] Nyan nyan...

[ of course, the onomatopoeia comes out as flawless mew- like a silver bell. but whatever can it mean? she's lonely, of course- not that she'd admit it. or even knows that she is. but she's too silly of a girl to realize this. ]

Hm?....

[ Hikaru stares. That was actually pretty impressive. He brings up his own hand clad in paw like mittens and mimics the movement and noise. Not that his rendition actually sounds like a cat but that was really kind of cool. ]

[ her clawed hand extends to touch Hikaru's mitten. another mew: ] Nyan.

[ she draws away, turning palms upward towards each twin. ] Let's go.

[ now it's said like a child to a parent. c'mon mom, dad- let's go. let's hurry. let's have fun. ]

[ Kaoru glances to Hikaru, only to poof back into something familiar--his school uniform. ]

If you want to go and run off with some girl, I'm not going to stop you.

[ A very cat like smirk appears on Hikaru's face. Maybe this could be fun. It'll be interesting if only for a little while at least.

[ He takes Kaoru's hand in his. ]

Okay.

[ He still sounds bored though. ]

[ her hands lower and her lips curve in to a smile as well. cattish. that's one way to describe everything. she states her name: ] ...Madotsuki.

[ they could be bored or feigning boredom. yet it's not up to her to entertain; again, she's only offering. this could turn out good or become a disaster. but who's to say this won't be a good disaster? ]

[ Exactly Hikaru's thinking, and besides if it turned out to be a bust they could just jet. ]

Hikaru.

[ Though he doubted she'd be able to tell him apart from his twin.

[ He tugs on Kaoru's arm to get him moving. ]

Kaoru.

[ He didn't look so enthusiastic, though his twin was going with, so why not? You owe me, Hikaru. ]

[ she looks from one boy to the other. no; she wouldn't be able to tell them apart by looks. what can can tell apart is affect. Kaoru seems more reserved now. she frowns at that. for the moment, she's only regarding Kaoru. she thinks it's strange, how Hikaru doesn't say anything, or doesn't notice his own brother's lack of enthusiasm- or if he does, he's simply ignoring it.]

[ in any case, that's between them. she turns again, eyes scanning the banquet hall, searching for an exit, and spot one she does! she begins to move. even her walk now is lithe and cat-like ] Anyone can follow the rabbit.

Not everyone follows the cat. Nyan. [ not that they have to follow her. again, it's their choice. still, her tone carries a playful, gratefulness to it. ]

[ Hikaru arches an eyebrow and changes back into his own school uniform. So she'd noticed where the costume was from. He wondered just what sort of place this girl came from. There were too many different sorts for them to all have come from Japan, there was just no way.

[ Well maybe there was.

[ He followed close behind, his hand still grasping Kaoru's. ]

[ she's explored many places. or worlds- worlds only as limited as the mind or dreams are. but as for them being real?....as real as any Hindu or Buddhist would conclude that the world others perceive is real. no, she doesn't know where she's going here, and it certainly does not appear like she has a purpose other than to explore. for starters, she leads them out of the grand hall, away from the eccentric chatter and exotic smells of foods. still, even this new area is just as golden and magnificent ] ...New.

[ new to her. it's true. she not used to extravagance, to elegance, to waste intended to show off a specific type of splendor. ] And old.

[ as old as stardust- as old as anything is. ]

[ Kaoru walked into the room with Hikaru. As soon as Madotsuki finished... uh, "speaking", the twin looked to the other. ]

[ Kaoru looked over once again at the exact same time.

[ The allure had been nice for a little while but now Hikaru was getting bored again. ]

Forget it.

[ Hikaru sighed and turned to leave. It was nice while it lasted but he was already bored again. ]

See you, kitty cat.

[ And Kaoru turned in unison with him--the two heading off to find their own adventure, leaving Madotsuki behind with a wave of their hands. ]
