[ Of all the places he expected to wake up - or, technically, not wake up at all seeing as he was dead, - he hadn't thought it'd be something like this. He may have been a nice guy and all, but he was still a pirate. Pirate's didn't end up on fluffy clouds or anything, did they? Unless this was the Sky Island from the Grand Line, though why in the hell would he be there?

Oh well. He had made his peace before he died, said his goodbyes and finally freed himself from his life of regret. He would have liked to know how Luffy, Pops and the rest of his brothers had faired after he had fallen, but they were strong and resilient and he had no doubt of their abilities.

The little speech the new arrivals had been...odd and safe to say Ace didn't really understand half of it. But that didn't matter because as he made his way down to the party and there was food. Food was always good.

There's probably already bowls and plates and glasses stacked up because this boy can eat and the food is endless. So that's something everyone can enjoy. ]

Additionally, he's picking food from the tables at random, not even making sure to chose whatever is actually edible {empty plates... aren't, weirdly enough}, so one of your snacks? is gone. And Oz is on his way to be gone too, semi-running as he is.

[As someone who had died twice already, Yusuke definitely could assure him this wasn't a thing like the afterlife. The afterlife was full of paperwork and ogres and cranky toddler lords who could do weird stuff with their pacifiers. This...this was something different, something he wasn't used to, and that sorta pissed him off. He didn't turn down one ruling gig to walk right into another, after all. That was just stupid.

But yes, food always was a perk, regardless of a situation, and he was already doing a decent job polishing off his third dish of whatever this delicious stuff they kept serving them. Not quite so impressive as his handsome neighbor, however, and he gives him a brief nod of approval]
