Oooh! [ More of that embarrassed preeningshuffling thing here but there's also a glint to his eyes-- Oz is very much pleased and very excited and anyway HE FINALLY GETS TO MEET PEOPLE, this is the best thing ever {now if only his own friends were here but. better to shove that thought away} ]

[ he's so bubbly, enough for both of them, if not more. she continues to flatline. ] Oz. [ no honorifics of any language from her. she's socially inept, and it shows. once again, the conversation falls flat. what is she supposed to say? ] I wouldn't know. [ that it's a pleasure to meet him. might as well be honest, even if it's gotten her in trouble before. ]

[ Oz can and will be bubbly enough for an entire room full of boring linefaces-- if there's a girl involved he'll try even harder. Come on miss, some of this has to be catching...maybe. Even if, for a moment, the look he casts to the ground is uncommonly sober ] I guess so.

[ the change in expression isn't something she would call two faced. but to the sharpness and abruptness that is demonstrated she only gives half an indication that she's noticed. her answer, however, comes all too naturally. ] Explore.

[ it's a habit now, to wander without a point, to come to some conclusion only to find another one. never mind that at these gathering one is supposed to stay within the area to meet others. still, she finds it odd that he asked what she would like to do. ] Wander.

[ It isn't two-faced, or it is, really, but there is no malice behind that kind of game. Oz has no desire to harm unless someone threatens the people he's build his world around and for now they're both gone and safe-- somehow, for him, one is the consequence of the other. Anyway, he's back to grinning when he hears her answer-- it's very much what he would like to do himself! And yes, he's going to invite himself along. ]

We could probably fly by now, if we figured out how. But walking is good too-- let's no wait any longer, we should get up and going!

[ she knows how to fly. probably one useful power that she learned back in her world in comparison to the majority of useless abilities she has. but activation of powers are often by whim, not reason. this time's not any different. besides- ] Flying distracts appreciation.

[ much faster than walking. and....she doesn't want to explore up here. this place filled with luxury and beauty- it's not for her. to the earth she wants to go, to walk there. now. which way down? she begins wandering. ]

[ Oz, of course, doesn't know how to fly. Horseback riding, dancing, falling through endless space and into semi-doom, he can do that. Blond-haired he might be and soft looking but the concept of angels, of being an angel would be a slap to the face and joke at once. ]

Ah- but we don't need to escape here, do we? Unless this is boring you to tears already [ a look back, a secretive, dramatic over-played spy look ] which I can understand. It's not the place where things are really happening after all!

[ So Oz just. walks. It's a bit mindless but it's faster than one usually wanders, with a spring to his step and a whistle to his voice. He's really exploring, peeking behind walls and pillars, eyeing trees. He's likely walking a pace infront of you, leading not because he decided to but because it's an habit. ]

[ suddenly- without any flashy or sound of indication- the girl transforms. a simple dress, a broom. a pointed hat. the classic look of a witch. she mounts the broom, hovering ever so slightly. even if it is flying, she can control the speed. seems she's...bored of walking more than anything else, really. lazily she hovers right beside him, keeping up. ] There's no escape from here, anyways.

[ she means this world. ] ...Only in sleep.

[ ad, mknjk!!! That is both a mental and a facial expression. Oz seems absolutely flabbergasted for a moment {'WHAT--' } but it's not fear or shock that has him trapped but just the suddenness of it. Still, Oz prides himself on being quick to adept {too quick, really} and within a moment he is at her broom. ]

How did you- I mean, when? I- that's amazing! You made this place even more into something straight out of a book!

[ ...sadly, his enthusiasm overrides her last sentence. But he does seem honestly delighted. ]

I... [ his is excitement is certainly something. enough to make her jerk backwards. she has little issue moving towards someone by her own accord, but when someone else does...very fidgety, this one is. ]

[ And Oz is somewhere between noticing how she reacts and not being able to pay enough attention to it; he presses on but not necessarily forward, there is no body contatc he's going for. ]

[ her mouth opens as if to speak- thoughts rush through her mind- and then she replies. ] Aa. [ and then a small smile. everything is subtle with her. ] It's...nothing special.

[ obligatory statement that naturally waves away the positive. but to her it really isn't. all she knows how to do so far is fly with a broom stick. hardly a 'witch'. ]

No-- [ And that is said with ~feelings~ with the enthusiasm that seems to be so much part of Oz today. He'll touch the broom handle { and here's to hoping that nothing bad will come from this} and just. continue to be starry-eyed. ]

That doesn't look like nothing to me at all. You're doing this so easily too!

[ and Oz will not let her- wave away the positive about this, that is. Just ask his sister, being a witch has...a lot to do with mentality. ] I knew this place would be interesting!

[ become what scarcely qualifies as a witch is actually one of her more useful effects. really. one of her abilities is to turn into...a head. only a head. another is to become a traffic light. she wonders if he'd be impressed with those as well.

she eyes his hand, as if the broom is a part of her that he feels. still, she doesn't back away; perhaps its a sort of pride keeping her still. she can't back away from everything during this banquet. ] It's normal for me.

[ Oz might be a bit -- confused and dubious about these but it's certainly one of his easier exercises to find enthusiasm where others see no reason for it. ]

Ahahaha but they weren't normal for me before [ The hand kind of stays {sorry, he likes to be stupid at impractical times} but his --glow softens down. ] At least I don't think I could do this before.
